TabVault Pro ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps users save, organize, and restore browser sessions. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection and Storage

What We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• Tab Information: URLs and titles of tabs you choose to save in sessions
• Session Data: Session names, tags, and timestamps you create
• User Preferences: Theme settings (light/dark mode) and auto-save preferences

How Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API. This means:

• Your data is stored on your local device
• If you're signed into Chrome, your data may sync across your devices through your Google account
• We do not have access to this data
• We do not operate any external servers that receive your data

Data Sharing

The Extension:

• Does NOT send data to external servers
• Does NOT use analytics or tracking services
• Does NOT collect personal identification information
• Does NOT access your browsing history beyond the tabs you explicitly save

Permissions Used

The Extension requires the following permissions:

tabs	To read tab URLs and titles when you save a session
windows	To restore sessions in new windows
alarms	To enable scheduled session restores
chrome://favicon/*	To display website favicons in the session list

Data Security

Your data is protected by Chrome's built-in security mechanisms. Since all data remains on your device (or synced via your Google account if Chrome sync is enabled), we cannot access, view, or modify your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Your data remains stored until you delete it
• You can delete individual sessions at any time through the Extension
• Uninstalling the Extension will remove all locally stored data
• To remove synced data, you can clear Chrome's sync data in your browser settings

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
